Link's Many Jobs Could Use an Internet Marketing Firm

By Rob Sutter

If you've ever played a "Legend of Zelda" game, then you know full well that our main hero isn't simply on the road to rescue Princess Zelda. On the contrary, Link often finds himself sidetracked with many jobs that people may give in him in exchange for information and rewards. It's times like these that Link is seen less as a hero and more as a handyman extraordinaire. While I'm not too supportive of the role, the silent hero may find it useful to hire an Internet marketing form.

I believe something that has to be said in relation to Link is that his trades are many. Link's skills are not limited to just the way of the sword; skills such as horseback and archery are places were the hero excels. While they may not be of great help in today's world, the medieval Hyrule has great use for them. Link is often compensated for the work that he is done, especially when the townsfolk are so surprised that the one in green managed to pull through for them.

Link has the ability to conduct a series of jobs if he is told to. "Ocarina of Time" is a great example of Link's worth ethic when he has to go through a sequence of trading items with people. Ultimately, the sequence would end with Link gaining the Biggoron Sword, the most powerful sword in the game, held with two hands and is unable to be severed. Link has to be quick during this sequence because there are more than a few items which are time-sensitive. He has to hustle and with Epona by his side, he will not leave anyone disappointed.

In a massive world such as Hyrule, how many people would possibly know about him? It's a shame that Link hasn't been born in the modern era or that the Internet wasn't around in that universe because I believe he could have used an Internet marketing firm well. Organizations such as fishbat are able to help clients receive higher levels of traffic, which results in greater business transactions. I can't imagine Link taking to technology as we know it today that well but that's why such companies exist.

Link will necessitate the services of an Internet marketing firm, greatly because of his inability to convey his feelings with words. Aside from a litany of battle cries, can you recall a time in the Zelda games when the hero spoke with actual words? This is one of the several shortcomings that a firm like this can help him with. Link won't have to say much of anything and the firm can perform the advertising work, allowing people to know about the hero's traits, of which there are many.
