Christmas Gifts-Buying For Her

Your Way To Financial Freedom

The Christmas holidays are almost upon us but there's still plenty of time to search for that perfect gift. There's a rumour that women are difficult to buy for, but worry not, here are some ideas to get you started:

Pampering: Everyone likes to be pampered, spoil her rotten with a beauty treatment. Or if you are feeling extra plush you can splash out and arrange for her to spend a day at a spa and relax after running around after everyone over Christmas.

Fragrance: Fragrances are a great Christmas gift. It's something we rarely buy for ourselves so will always be seen as treat. There are so many fragrances out there that it can be hard to know what to go for. You could find out what her favourite fragrance is and opt for that or if you are confident in your own nose, go to a perfumery and pick one out yourself. If you're looking to up your game, why not think about a perfume gift set.

Home ware: If you're thinking of something for the home, it needs to be something impractical and stylish; no one wants a set of pans or a kettle for Christmas. Think about luxury bedspread or some funky throw pillows for the sitting room, something that isn't necessarily needed but that will add to the style of your home.

Jewellery: A classic gift for one you love. A beautiful necklace or watch would make a perfect Christmas present. Beware though, if it's still early days, certain jewellery gifts may be taken the wrong way, in this instance earrings are a safe choice, just make sure she has her ears pierced!

Chocolate: Everyone loves chocolate, but you should opt for the posh expensive kind and not a slab of supermarket own brand. If you're feeling generous, perhaps throw a bottle of champagne in as well; the perfect way to toast in the New Year.

Clothes: Think more accessories than clothes, if you get the size wrong you might never hear the end of it. It's time to wrap up warm so what about a luxurious scarf or those leather gloves she's had her eye on, or if she likes the outdoors, perhaps you could go for a posh pair of wellies.

Gadgets: Women don't usually share the same love of gadgets as men. However the latest hair straighteners will earn you brownie points, as will a fancy case for her phone or mp3 player.
